A Farewell Poem

कल फिर कल में एक नया कल होगा।
पल में तैरता हर एक पल होगा।

सूरज की किरणें, सुबह का इशारा ।
ज़िन्दगी की भाग दौड़, हर शख्स ऊहापोह का मारा।

दौपहर की तपन, सिकता तन और मन।
जीवन की खौज, दिखता सिर्फ और सिर्फ धन।

शाम की उदासी, रात की तन्हाइयां।
जाम के दौर और पन्नो पर शायरियाँ।

पर न होगा कुछ न कुछ तो पूरा।
इस खेल की फितरत ही है रहना अधूरा।

इन लम्हों का यूँ हवा के झौंके सा गुज़र जाना खलेगा।
यह अवसाद अंत तक पलेगा।

यारों की बेमतलब की एक दूसरे से चुगलबाज़ियां।
जैसे एक पुराने छल्ले से गुच्छे में बंधी कुछ चाबियाँ।

उसका सामने से गुज़ारना, वक़्त का मदहोश होना।
मेरा उसको देखना, लिखना और हर दम खामोश रहना।

देखा जाये तो जवानी के सबसे नायाब क्षण अपने पिटारे में रखकर चले जा रहे हैं हम।
ज़िन्दगी से कह दो संक्रमण काल ख़त्म हुआ, अब तुझसे मिलने आ रहें हैं हम।
